Children's Orthodontics

Through orthodontic treatment or braces, issues such as crooked or crowded teeth, overbites or underbites, incorrect jaw positions, and jaw joint disorders can be corrected. Ideally, children should have their initial assessment between the ages of 7 and 10, or even sooner in some cases.

What Are the Benefits of Early Orthodontic Treatment?

Early intervention guides growth and development, which can prevent serious problems later on. When orthodontic intervention is not immediately necessary, we can carefully monitor growth and development and begin treatment at the optimal time. Early treatment can help ensure a healthy, well-aligned smile and avoid more complex issues in the future.

Adult Orthodontics

Teeth can shift with age due to injury, a condition called tongue thrust, or natural growth. If your previously straight teeth have become crooked and overcrowded, or if you've always had crooked teeth but your parents couldn’t afford braces when you were growing up, or if you want straighter teeth to kick start a new career, orthodontic treatment can help.

Invisalign® (Clear Braces)

Many people associate braces with middle school, but getting braces as an adult is becoming much more common. Almost 20% of braces wearers are adults, largely due to the rise of more subtle, less visible options like Invisalign® clear aligners.

Unlike traditional fixed braces, Invisalign® uses clear, removable aligners with no metal brackets or wires. This means fewer follow-up appointments for adjustments. Additionally, Invisalign® allows you to view your virtual results and treatment plan before you even begin, so you can see how your teeth are expected to look once your treatment is complete.

How Much Does Invisalign® Treatment Cost?

The cost of Invisalign® treatment varies depending on the complexity of your orthodontic issues and your course of treatment. Generally, the cost is comparable to traditional fixed braces. After completing an orthodontic evaluation, Dr. Maria Ang will present a detailed treatment plan, including costs, so you can decide if Invisalign® is the right choice for you.
